Prototyping Template - Artis

Prototyping can be used to build precise anatomical models of the patient's bone anatomy based on CT scan data; from this generated prototype, it is possible to determine the extent of lesions, use the mirrored opposite side to restore symmetry, plan custom prostheses, and measure and shape plates and screws.

The Cranioplasty Template is developed individually from the patient's CT scan, allowing precise shaping of the acrylic bone cement. Using the Cranioplasty Template allows for the production of a high-quality custom prosthesis with an excellent aesthetic result and precise marginal fit.

Procedures performed with the Cranioplasty Template allow for reduced surgical time with greater predictability in cases of extensive cranial reconstruction.
