Ultrasonic Bone Cutter - Sonoca

The ultrasonic bone instruments were developed together with leading surgeons to deliver high-performance sonotrode tips using ultrasonic technology.

With a wide range of tip types, the surgeon is free to choose the piece that will be most effective for their specific procedure.

All instruments are qualified for extremely precise work, ensuring that the

most fragile structures in the spinal region adjacent to the work site are strictly preserved.

In addition to use in cervical spine surgical procedures, the bone handpieces can be

used in surgical procedures in the cranial region and in orthopedics.

This line represents the newest generation of ultrasonic devices and an advance in Söring technology; the ultrasonic dissectors for spine, bone, and neurological surgery feature a growing number of disposable sonotrodes.

Its use ranges from laminoplasty to laminectomy and the surgical treatment of spinal stenosis.

As expected of disposable sonotrodes (knife- or scraper-shaped), they are intuitively quick and easy to replace during surgical procedures if needed. The pieces allow the surgeon to work on bone efficiently and with low risk to the patient. The pieces operate with irrigation, which is essential to the cavitation process.

Selective cutting and scraping of bone and rigid structures;

Preservation of adjacent soft tissue, vessels, and nerves;

Significantly reduces the risk of dura mater injury.
